Wolfgang Krüger

Wolfgang Krüger, President

Wolfgang Krüger a native of Berlin, Germany, came to the United States in 1986 after completing his undergraduate degree in Political Science and American Studies with an emphasis on international relations. He received his Master of Arts Degree in German Literature and Linguistics at the University of Georgia in 1990. He joined an international corporation and eventually headed the cross-cultural and language training segment of their management development program. As a consultant, Mr. Krüger advised US based companies in international business issues. Mr. Krüger became President of GLI in 2000.

 

Monika Johnston Monika Johnston , Marketing/Business Development

Monika Johnston received her Master's Degree in German Rhetorics and Japanese from the University of Tübingen, Germany, after being awarded multiple scholarships by the German Government as well as the Japanese Ministry of Education to study and teach in Japan for 3 years at Kyoto-University and Hokkaido-University, Sapporo. Ms. Johnston also studied Cross-cultural Science and International Export Business at the Exportakademie Reutlingen. During her teaching career of more than 15 years she has worked with various international companies (Sony, Panasonic, Siemens) and taught at Goethe-Instituts and universities in Japan, Germany and the United States. Mrs. Johnston also works as an international business consultant, advising companies on cross-cultural issues.

 

Tim Jansa Tim Jansa , Language & Training Programs

Tim Jansa was born in Cologne, Germany, and received both a government scholarship by the State of Bavaria and a Graduate Assistantship while working toward his Master's Degree in German Literature and Linguistics which he received with honors from the University of Wyoming. During his graduate studies, he received his training as a teacher of German as a Foreign Language (DaF). He also holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from the Friedrich-Alexander University, Germany. Before entering his current position in 2003, Mr. Jansa’s successful career as an instructor in collegiate and adult education spanned nearly 10 years. His corporate training expertise with a focus on business language and cross-cultural training programs include assignment with prestigious international clients such as Porsche Cars North America, Siemens Energy & Automation, The Southern Company, and Alston & Bird, LLP.
